பௌர்ணமி Pournami (Full Moon)

பௌர்ணமி என்பது சந்திரன் முழுமை அடையும் நாள் — வளர்பிறை பக்ஷத்தின் 15ஆம் திதி. சத்யநாராயண பூஜை, சந்திர வழிபாடு போன்றவை இந்த நாளில் சிறப்பாக நடைபெறும். மாதந்தோறும் ஒரு முறை வரும் மிக புனிதமான நாளாக கருதப்படுகிறது.

Pournami (பௌர்ணமி) is the full moon day, observed on the 15th tithi of the waxing fortnight (shukla paksha). Worshipped as Satyanarayana Pournami in many traditions, it is considered auspicious for vratas and special pujas.
